Love the bike comic debate. 👌. If it's any help just have both ebike and road bike that way you don't need to make a decision🤣

E -full suspension mountain bike for fun on & off road, normal road bike and a third road bike for the indoor trainer and virtual software called myWhoosh 😉

Thanks Carl!! Sounds like the perfect set up! I did buy the e-bike, it’s a gravel bike as the lanes around me are more gravel than tarmac, and I can also take to fire lanes and canal paths fine! I also have a cheap road bike on a turbo trainer with MyWhoosh :) and I kept my original gravel bike as its steel frame and beautiful and just can’t part with it! I hope to get fit enough to be able to ride it sometimes, although now I have an e-bike I can’t see that happening!!!

MyWhoosh is fantastic isn't it. I moved over from zwift after a 50% price hike. I'll look you up on Strava 👍

Ditto!! I am impressed with MyWhoosh having lived Zwift, but didn’t like the price hike either :)

Lovely sketches - I especially like third one! I get a great sense of springtime with all the trees and the shades of green.

I bought an e-bike a couple of years ago and because I live in a very hilly country area it means I get out on my bike when otherwise I just wouldn’t. You’ve inspired me to take a sketch kit along next time I go for a ride!

Thanks Kate! It definitely helps me get out and about as I live halfway up a big hill so I always have to go up at the start or at the end, with lots of other hills on the way!

Good luck putting your sketch kit together - I recommend having a dedicated simple set that is always stored in the bike if possible! It’s a lovely hobby to combine with cycling. Let me know how you get on :)
